- The first thing to download slack from App Store is to get into App Store. You will probably have App Store logged in already. After getting into App Store, you have to start searching for the Slack app.

- After clicking on download, your Mac will start downloading Slack along with the necessary files. All you can do now is wait for a while so that the app is properly downloaded. When the download is complete, you have to go for a Finder window now.
- In the Finder window, search for the Downloads folder. Here, all the downloaded apps and files will be saved. In the Downloads folder, you have to find Slack. It will be listed as a .dmg file there. From the list, get your hands on the Slack file and double-click it.
- Double-clicking will bring up a new small window on the screen. All you need now to do is drag the Slack icon and bring it to the Application folder. Taking it there, you have to drop it.
